Where is the media coverage of John Edwards?
Recently, the Edwards campaign released an ad about the lack of media coverage of his campaign. So, why have the 24-hour news networks and the blogosphere almost ignored Edwards in this race? One, he's boring, or at least the network administrators think so. Two, Edwards is a populist, which leads into the conspiracy theory that the media doesn't want Edwards because he is "anti-business." The campaign example of this is post-iowa more coverage was given to Hillary's third place finish rather than Edwards second place finish. My final reason is that Edwards is not very inspiring to 24-hour news network viewers, because he focuses on the old middle class which has a low rate of watching these networks. So, in summation, John Edwards doesn't get as much media coverage due to his "boringness", an anti-Edwards media conspiracy, and his audience doesn't collide with the media's.
